TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All bookings of our trips, stays or activities are confirmed once the quote has been signed and dated together with the payment of the 30% deposit of the total amount. The booking is considered valid only when it has been received with this deposit.
The booking implies that the customer accepts the booking terms and conditions.
Upon confirmation, the balance payment for the total price of the trip must be paid minimum 30 days before departure.
If the booking is made less than 35 days before departure, the full amount must be paid up front.

1/Tariffs & tax
Tariffs are expressed in Pacific Francs (CFP) or in Euros (€).
They may change at any time, with or without notice, according to our suppliers (hotels, air companies, land or sea transport companies) without Nouméa Discovery Inbound being held liable.
Our prices include taxes (TGC which is currently fixed at 6%). These taxes may change without notice. Any change in the tax rate will immediately result in an increase in our prices, without Noumea Discovery Inbound being held liable.

2/ Quotes and bookings
All requests for quotes and bookings must be sent to the following email addresses:

Booking requests are subject to availability of the services offered. Nouméa Discovery Inbound cannot be held liable for any unavailable activity or service.
For all trips to the islands we strongly recommend that you come back to Noumea the day before any international flights. Neither Nouméa Discovery Inbound nor Air Calédonie can be held liable for cancellations due to bad weather or any domestic flight cancellations.

3/ Prices
Only the activities and services specifically mentioned in the quote and subsequent booking confirmation are included in the price. In particular, and unless otherwise stated, the following are not included in the price:
– international flights to and from New Caledonia
– insurance
- excess baggage
- drinks and meals
- optional excursions 
- personal expenses (tips, telephone, various deposits)
- exceptional expenditure due to unforeseeable circumstances such as strikes or bad weather conditions.

4/ Payment
For all confirmations an upfront payment of 30% of the total amount must be made.
The balance payment must be made at least 30 days before departure. Payment may be made by bank transfer, credit card (with a form). The bank fees are the responsibility of the remitter.

5/ Cancellation fees and conditions
For any change made to an already confirmed trip, a modification fee of 18 € will be charged.

The cancellation date depends on the date the email is received. For any cancellation 30 days before the trip a 5% charge of the total amount will be requested.
Cancellation fees will also depend on each of the service providers’ cancellation terms (hotels, Air Company…).
For a cancellation after confirming and payment of the deposit: 5 % of the deposit will be charged.
For a cancellation within 30 days before arrival: 5 % of the total amount of the booking will be charged.
The cancellation fees will depend on each of the service providers’ cancellation terms (hotels, Air Company…).

6/ Travel documents
Travel documents (vouchers, itinerary, information) will be delivered to the client at the arrival at Tontouta International Airport.

7/ Liability
According to the clause L211-16 of the Tourism Code, we cannot be held liable for any of the following: delay or impossibility to present required valid documents, loss of these documents, unforeseeable circumstances such as strikes, social disputes or bad weather conditions or any other Force Majeure events. Any trip that is cut short or stopped by choice of the participant, or any excursion or activity not used by the client, will not be reimbursed. These Terms and Conditions are subject to French Law. Any action, suit or proceedings against the company and/or the interpretation of this Contract will be brought in the relevant Commercial Court.

Cancellations policies of the hotels and domestic flight companies

CHATEAU ROYAL BEACH RESORT & SPA
• Cancellation or modification until 72 hours before arrival : no fee
• Cancellation or modification less than 72 hours before arrival or no show : the total amount of the booking will be charged

MARRIOTT HOTELS (MERIDIEN NOUMEA & ILE DES PINS / SHERATON DEVA RESORT)
• More than 7 days before arrival: no charge
• Less than 7 days before arrival: 1 night will be charged
• No show: 2 nights will be charged
During peak season:
• More than 46 days before arrival: no charge
• Between 45 and 30 days before arrival: 1 night will be charged
• Less than 30 days before arrival or No Show: the full stay will be charged

LE LAGON
• 72 hours before arrival : 1 night will be charged
• Less than 72 hours before arrival or no show : maximum 3 first nights of the booking will be charged

GHNC HOTELS LE BEAURIVAGE, LA NEA, LE KONIAMBO, LE MALABOU, LE KOULNOUE VILLAGE ET LE TIETI
• Modification or cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival: no fees
• Modification or cancellation between 7 and 4 days prior to arrival: 1 night will be charged
• Modification or cancellation less than 3 days prior to arrival: 2 nights will be charged
• No Show: the whole booking will be charged
• Any reduction of the length of the stay will be considered as a modification; if the reduction is required during the stay, the whole booking will be charged.

RAMADA
• More than 72 hours before arrival: no charge
• Less than 72 hours before arrival: 1 night will be charged
• No show: the total amount of the booking will be charged

CASA DEL SOLE
• 2 weeks before arrival : 2 nights will be charged
• 1 week before arrival : 3 nights will be charged
• No show : 4 nights will be charged

LE DOMAINE DE MERANKI
• Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival: the total amount of the booking will be charged

LODGE TERRE DE SOLEIL
• Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival: the total amount of the booking will be charged

EVASION
• 2 weeks before arrival: 1 night will be charged for a stay of less than 5 days
2 nights will be charged for a stay of more than 5 days
• Cancellation or modification within 72 hours or No Show: the total amount of the booking will be charged

HOTEL DE POE – BOURAIL
• For a stay from 1 to 3 nights : 100 % of the booking will be charged if cancellation 72 hours before arrival
• For a stay of 3 nights and more: 100 % of the booking will be charged if cancellation 7 days before arrival.
• No show : 100 % of the booking will be charged

POE COTE LAGON
• Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival : the total amount of the booking will be charged

BETIKURE PARC LODGE
• 5 € cancellation fees
• Less than 48 hours before arrival: 50 % of the booking will be charged

HIBISCUS
• 24 hours before arrival: no fee
• Less than 24 hours before arrival: 50% of the booking will be charged

REFUGE DU CERF
• Cancellation more than 48 hours before arrival: no fees
• Cancellation between 48 and 24 hours before arrival: 100 % of accommodation only will be charged
• Cancellation less than 24 hours before arrival: 100% of the booking will be charged

KA WABOANA LODGE
• Cancellation less than 24 hours before arrival: the total amount of the booking will be charged

KANUA TERA
• Cancellation 72 hours before arrival or No Show : 1 night will be charged

OURE LODGE
• Cancellation received within 2 weeks before arrival:
1 night cancellation fee for less than a 5-day stay
2 nights cancellation fee for stay of more than 5 days
• Cancellation or change in booking received within 72 hours and no show: Full Stay will be charged

PARADIS D’OUVEA
• From 14 to 8 days before arrival : 50% of a night will be charged
• From 7 to 2 days before arrival : 1 night will be charged
• The day before arrival or No Show : 100% of the booking will be charged
During peak season from 23/12/2019 to 05/01/2020 included:
• From 30 to 15 days before arrival : 50% of a night will be charged
• From 14 to 8 days before arrival : 1 night will be charged
• From 7 to 3 days before arrival : 50 % of the booking will be charged
• From 2 days before arrival and No show : 100% of the booking will be charged

• A modification of the dates of stay is considered as a cancellation and cancellation policies will be applied accordingly
• Until 7 days prior to travel: no cancellation fee
• Less than 7 days until 24 hours prior to travel: 1 night is charged
• Less than 24 hours prior to travel: cancellation is considered as No show and the whole stay will be charged.

Cancellation policies of Air Caledonie Company
• All modification fees per flight segment and per passenger: 9 €
• Modification or cancellation fees less than 48 hours before flight per flight segment and per passenger: 12 €

Cancellation policies of Air Loyaute Company
• All modification fees per flight segment and per passenger: 8 €
• Cancellation fees more than 48 hours before flight per flight segment and per passenger: 10 €
• Cancellation fees less than 48 hours before flight per flight segment and per passenger: 20 €
• Cancellation the day of flight: non refundable
