A half-day guided tour of either Northern or Southern Maré to discover the wonders of the wildest of Loyalty Islands:
– Pede bay is a small inlet nestled in the rocks, it is an ideal spot for snorkelling
– Natural aquarium: a real small lagoon and a fish refuge surrounded by vegetation.
– Vanilla plantation in Hnawayac or Tenane: discover a plantation of this special kind of orchid and have a vanilla coffee or vanilla tea!
– Roh: historic monument dedicated to gospel’s arrival on the island
– The Bone Hole: a 40-meter deep vertical cave hollowed out in the limestone rocks
– The cultural center and the village of La Roche
– The warrior’s leap: Legend says that a warrior, harassed by enemies, leaped across this gaping 5-meter wide crevice in the cliff.
– Patho & Kurine beaches: 7 km of wide and desert beaches
– Pethoen cave: take a small trail through the forest where a pure water cave is hiding, dominated by stalactites.
– Wonderful Eni, Wabao & Yedjele beaches.
